Atlas Copco to amass Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering methods. The firm employs round 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting customers and growing leading industrial flow technology for efficient, precise and secure handling of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re building our presence and expertise offering inside positive displacement pumps.”

“Geveke has strong engineering functionality, providing full industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the course of the second quarter 2022.
The primary part of the acquired companies may have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
