Atlas Copco to acquire Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering methods. The company employs round 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a protracted custom of supporting clients and growing leading industrial move expertise for efficient, precise and safe dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re constructing our presence and expertise providing inside constructive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complicated course of pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 workers and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, offering full industrial pump options from idea to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be accomplished in the course of the second quarter 2022.
