Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to high quality and fantastic association with BIS for more than 25 years’.
The household enterprise was based in 1981 by P Arumugam alongside along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and friend MS Sundaram, producing pumps beneath the Deccan brand. This was followed by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
