Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering supplies water remedy products and services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, knowledge centre, food and beverage, healthcare, medical system and microelectronics markets. The firm has more than 1,200 customers in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will enhance its portfolio of high purity water remedy techniques and broaden its service footprint in North America.

When the deal closes, the Smith Engineering enterprise shall be a half of Evoqua’s Integrated Solutions and Services phase.
