เกวัดแรงดัน has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering systems. The firm employs around 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting clients and growing main industrial flow technology for environment friendly, exact and protected handling of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re building our presence and expertise offering within positive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complex course of pump installations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 workers and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has sturdy engineering capability, providing complete industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be accomplished in the course of the second quarter 2022.
The primary part of the acquired businesses may have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
